A damaged CCTV camera is at best a nuisance and at worst an absolute nightmare due to lack of coverage and security.

We carry out a lot of service calls due to damaged / non functional cameras and for the most part it’s down to either poor installation or just product failure.
One of the most common ones in the past 12 months seems to have been moisture ingress in the camera itself leading to the lens being steamed up or just obscured due to the moisture itself.
For the most part cameras should be a sealed unit with the off exception, One of the more common things we seem to find with the exception of a manufacturing defect is the SD card slot or other access panels not being correctly seated or the gasket being damaged.
While we don’t repair cracked lenses like the camera in the photos we do offer replacement cameras and other components. Often there’s no need to replace an entire system for one just one or two camera failures.
