Nothing beats a call at the end of the week from a prospective customer requiring internet in their newly built shed in the next few days.
Yes it happens and quite frankly too often, the shed bad been built, parlour installed along with all the automated systems and then someone has realised that there’s no internet connection available.
For the most part we don’t offer weekend installations but when the kit we require is in stock and it’s a fairly straightforward job we don’t mind too much.
With a simple point to point link installed on the roof of the house connecting back to the broadband router and another link fitted to the corner of the shed we were able to cable back to the office.
Inside the office this little box of tricks on the wall houses the Power Over Ethernet supply for the wireless link as well as one for the WiFi access point itself and a switch to provide hardwired connections for the dairy computers and other equipment.
